Here's a luxury accommodation for one or two couples who value convenience, ease of rental and all the accessories one might need for nesting-in already well-thought-out and in place. We know Julia Nelson and Madeleine Litchfield's eye for quality and conscientious attention to detail, so we have no qualms about awarding their property a rare five-star rating!

Two apartments are on offer: One second- and the other third-floor, based within a new development above Mandelieu-La Napoule with panoramic sea views overlooking the Esterel hills.

These superbly appointed apartments are available to be booked jointly or separately.

Each apartment features two double bedrooms, both en-suite. There is a large lounge (living room) and dining area with double sofa-bed. From the lounge there is access to the 39-square-metre terrace which offers both sunbathing and shade. There is a swimming pool and large terrace for the exclusive use of the occupants of the apartments.

Each apartment has been planned and designed with high-quality furniture, fittings, linen and towels. There is colour TV, Sky (satellite access) and Cable, DVD/CD player and radio. The extremely well-equipped kitchen has a fridge freezer, electric oven, microwave, gas/electric hob (cooktop), dishwasher, washer/dryer, plus a small breakfast bar and access to the patio.

Surrounded by fabulous mountain scenery and nature trails, Le Palais du Grand Duc is a private and secure complex. Only a 30-minutes drive from Nice International airport and five minutes from the beach, town, shops, supermarkets, bars and golf courses. The many other Cote-d'Azur resorts and attractions are all easily accessible by road or train.

Rental rates: Low Season £370.00 per week
Mid Season £415.00 - 625.00 per week
High Season £835.00 per week

A 25 per cent deposit is required before a booking can be confirmed which is non-refundable. The balance is payable eight (8) weeks before arrival date.

A security deposit of £350.00 is to be paid with full payment which is returned within 30 days of departure.

The rental includes a meet-and-greet by their local English-speaking agent, fresh linen and towels, and a final clean. Lots of other details are fully explained on the website (as well as further contact and booking info), but if you're planning on booking, visit soon, as rentals are going fast. The pair and their spouses are hoping to hang onto time at this wonderful destination for themselves.

In addition, their agent is able to arrange a variety of services including car hire (rental cars) and lifts to and from the airport. Hampers (baskets of fresh food) can be arranged for your arrival.
